Paula Eyre, Board Member

Paula is also President of Ohio CURE and has worked closely with the Ohio system for many years. As Chair and President of CURE-Ohio, develops the direction of the organization, edits and publishes the bimonthly newsletter, Against All Odds, publishes the web site, prepares grant proposals, organizes rallies, legislative action days, the booth at the Ohio State Fair, and media events. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and taught English and business writing classes from 1986 to 1992 to prisoners taking college courses at Lebanon and Warren Correctional Institutions. It was this experience that led her to believe strongly in education and opportunity as great tools in the rehabilitation process. Her husband was incarcerated for 20 years, but is now serving five years on parole under the Ohio Parole Board. Paula can be contacted at paula.eyre@ohiocure.org.
