Chrisa is a former federal inmate, having the unfortunate
pleasure of incrementally serving eight and one half years, in
federal prison, for non-violent offenses and technical
violation. Tragically as single mother, struggling to raise four
children. In all that and unselfishly, Chrisa's heart
burning with a passion to help others entangled in the criminal
justice system, led to her joining FedCURE's staff in 2003, as Online Support
Director and its mission to reform the federal criminal justice system in the
United States.
In 2014, Chrisa was promoted to the well
earned position of: Director of Social Media (DSM) for
FedCURE.
Her duties include, inter
alia: providing support for FedCURE's online social community
activities; planning and coordinating FedCURE functions and presentations; and
processing pre and post-incarceration, for resolution by FedCURE.
Chrisa is a full-time student seeking a degree in Social Work and Human
Development.
Chrisa has appeared on MSNBC with Dan Abrams, The Bill
O'Rielly Show, The Rita Cosby Show, Inside Edition, ABC World News Tonight, and
featured in The New York Daily News, Newsweek, The Washington Post and others.
For the past four years, Chrisa has been on a FedCURE "Special
Project." A special assignment inside the Federal Bureau of Prisons,
as an inmate, code name "CJ" for criminal justice (Chrisa's intialls).
