Chrisa J. Mayhew, Director of Social Media (DSM)

Chrisa is a former federal inmate, having the unfortunate pleasure of incrementally serving eight and one half years, in federal prison, for non-violent offenses and technical violation.  Tragically as single mother, struggling to raise four children.  In all that and unselfishly, Chrisa's heart burning with a passion to help others entangled in the criminal justice system, led to her joining FedCURE's staff in 2003, as Online Support Director and its mission to reform the federal criminal justice system in the United States.

In 2014, Chrisa was promoted to the well earned position of:  Director of Social Media (DSM) for FedCURE.

Her duties include, inter alia:  providing support for FedCURE's online social community activities; planning and coordinating FedCURE functions and presentations; and processing pre and post-incarceration, for resolution by FedCURE.   Chrisa is a full-time student seeking a degree in Social Work and Human Development.

Chrisa has appeared on MSNBC with Dan Abrams, The Bill O'Rielly Show, The Rita Cosby Show, Inside Edition, ABC World News Tonight, and featured in The New York Daily News, Newsweek, The Washington Post and others.

For the past four years, Chrisa has been on a FedCURE "Special Project."  A special assignment inside the Federal Bureau of Prisons, as an inmate, code name "CJ" for criminal justice (Chrisa's intialls).
